Friuli has been renowned as one of the finest winegrowing and winemaking regions for centuries. This sometimes-harsh land has always been generous, just like the people who live here. We are proud of our work and out work, and we like to think that our passion can transform into emotion in your wineglass.
Every morning, when we open the windows, we are embraced by our vineyards.
Alongside famous varieties like Ribolla Gialla and Friulano, and international grapes like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, we also find Malvasia Istriana and Verduzzo, among others: native grape varieties representing the best of a tradition which deserves to be protected.
In addition to Merlot, Pinot Nero and Cabernet Franc, we also offer our clients wines made with local grape varieties, like Schioppettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Franconia. In a region famed for excellent white wines, the specificity of its highly characteristic reds is outstanding too.
In addition to our single-grape whites and reds, we also make three particular wines: a blend of reds aged in wood which we call Comis’ Black, a sparkling Metodo Charmat, our Brut Coè, and a dessert wine, which is also ideal for meditation, made with the Picolit grape, a veritable jewel of Friuli’s viticulture.
